The Slovak Innovation and Energy Agency (SIEA) is preparing a new project called Zelená domácnostiam (Green for Households), whose main aim is to provide financial support for the installation of small solar systems that enable the use of renewable energy sources.

The launch of this project is planned in the coming weeks (in autumn 2023), and it will be open to applications from households across the whole of Slovakia.

For this project Zelená domácnostiam more than 180 million euros from European funds have been earmarked under the Program Slovensko, which can be used until the end of 2029.

Financial assistance for the installation of solar systems has so far been provided through the European Regional Development Fund and the state budget of the Slovak Republic under the Operational Programme Quality of Environment, in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions of the project published on our website.
