We operate an e-shop on the website www.syners.sk
When providing our services, selling goods, and operating our website, we process certain personal data.
The processing of personal data is governed in particular by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, repealing 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) („GDPR“).
I. Processing of personal data
A. Processing of personal data when using the contact form
If you contact us in connection with our products and services, we will work with the contact details you provide, mainly via the contact form. This personal data comprises: first name and surname, home and delivery postal address or billing address, e-mail address, and telephone number.
For what reason?
Based on the personal data you send us, we will then contact you regarding our offer of goods and services.
On what legal basis?
This processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – performance of a contract, or taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract.
If you did not provide us with this personal data, we would not be able to communicate with you for the purpose of concluding a contract for the supply of our goods or the provision of our services.
How long will we process your personal data?
If we do not establish further cooperation, we will process your personal data for no longer than 3 years from our last communication.
B. Processing of personal data in the case of a purchase
If you make a purchase from us, we will work with the personal data we need from you to conclude a contract for the provision of our goods or services. This is mainly billing information: first name, surname, address, e-mail address, and telephone number.
For what reason?
We need to process personal data in order to fulfil our obligations under the contract – delivering goods or providing services. We will also use your contact details to communicate with you about the status of your order, or about complaints or any questions you may have.
We will also process personal data to fulfil our obligations under generally binding legal regulations (mainly for accounting and tax purposes, or to handle complaints and similar matters).
On what legal basis do we process personal data?
This processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – performance of a contract, and Article 6(1)(c) GDPR – compliance with our legal obligation.
If you did not provide us with this personal data, we would not be able to conclude a contract with you for the supply of our goods or the provision of our services.
How long will we process your personal data?
For the duration of the delivery of goods or provision of services, and then for 3 years from the last provision of such services or delivery of goods.
C. Newsletter (commercial communication)
If you have purchased goods or services from us and have not expressly refused to receive marketing communications, we will use your e-mail address to send you our marketing communications.
On what legal basis?
This processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR – our legitimate interests, namely marketing communication aimed at our customers.
How long will we process your personal data?
3 years from your last purchase. If you no longer wish to receive our marketing communications, you can unsubscribe at any time via e-mail, or you can contact us at: gdpr@syners.sk
II. Who will have access to the data?
Your personal data stays with us. Nevertheless, some companies or other persons who help us run our e-shop work for us and have access to your personal data. They are:
- companies involved in dispatching goods (postal, delivery and courier services, depending on the current situation, that transport goods from us to you)
- companies involved in processing payments (our bank: Tatra banka)
- the e-mailing service provider (Websupport.sk)
- marketing agency
Your personal data may also be passed on to the following parties:
• The Tax and Customs Office.
We process personal data only within the European Union.
III. What else you should know
Our company has not appointed a data protection officer.
Our company does not make decisions based on automated processing or profiling.

V. Your rights in connection with the processing of personal data
Among other things, the GDPR gives you the right to contact us and request information about what personal data of yours we process, to request access to this data and have it updated or corrected, or to request that its processing be restricted. You can request a copy of the personal data we process, ask us in certain situations to erase your personal data, and in certain cases you have the right to data portability. You can also object to processing based on legitimate interest.
If you believe that we are not handling your data correctly, you have the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority, which in our jurisdiction is: Slovenská obchodná inšpekcia (the Slovak Trade Inspection), or to take the matter to court.
